The change of event made his wife have a rethink as she came begging the very moment she caught wind of the news. He had lots of things to say about her return. He claimed she did not show up when his mother died; neither did she go for the funeral. He was very sure she only returned because of the money so he turned her down. Onywera also claimed to have lost his father and had been involved in an accident himself but she did not come.
